Take a wonderful photographic journey to the nineteenth century and make your own blueprint

Mobile crafts studio Hausgemacht lets you return to the adventurous early days of photography in this open studio. In the 19th century this sorcery was still a meticulous process. Jules Verne could only dream of a quick selfie that could be shared in the cloud via social media.

In this studio you will work with cyanotype, one of the first forms of photography in which you make a blueprint based on objects that are placed on a UV-sensitive watercolor paper. In this way you write your own unique and fantastic narrative illustration, which you will also receive at the end of the day. Something to share if you wish.

Hausgemacht is a mobile crafts studio. We want to get people from all walks of life ‘out of their head, into their hands’. Because, now more than ever, we need to reconnect with ourselves, natural materials and each other.

We work with residual flows as much as possible because they exist and because mother earth already gets enough to swallow. We believe that creating unique and sustainable things with our hands can contribute to a better world and happier people.
